Accessibility

Our commitment

Athlete Med is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and to keep improving over time.

How we try to make this site accessible

We use clear, readable text and a strong colour contrast between text and background. The site is built to work with a keyboard alone, includes descriptive text for meaningful images, uses proper heading structure, and is designed to reflow on phones, tablets and desktops. Interactive elements are labelled so they work with screen readers.

Accessing our clinic

Our clinic is at St Augustines, 125 Canterbury Road, Westgate-on-Sea, Kent CT8 8NL. If you have specific access requirements for your visit — step-free access, extra time, a chaperone, or any adjustment that would help — please tell us when you book and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Known limitations

Some content is provided by third parties, such as embedded maps and the online booking system, and we cannot always guarantee the accessibility of those services. If any part of the site prevents you from doing what you need, contact us and we will help you directly by phone or email.

Feedback and help

If you experience any difficulty using this website, or you need information in a different format, please contact us on 01227 639694 or through the contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will respond within one working day and provide the information you need another way.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is not a one-off task. We review the site as we add content and features, and we welcome feedback that helps us make it better for everyone.
